Description

The LAV approved Vltor IMOD buttstock is Larry's first choice for an AR buttstock. It's light, strong, easy to install and is a solid piece of kit. Ready for use with standard and push button Vickers VCAS slings.

Includes a rubber buttpad, two storage compartments, and the core buttstock.

The improvements found on the IMod are as follows:

Integral, but removable non-slip buttpad (color matched to stock components)
Rolled/angled buttpad toe with wide traction area. This will assist in running the stock high on shoulder, making the IMod system more user friendly when using web-gear and/or body armor.
Improved lock paddle, making it easier to operate and making the contact surface non-slip when operating the lever.
Removed most sharp edges that may cause “snag points” to web-gear or other vital equipment.
Improved strength throughout construction of the stock chassis. This will provide maximum strength during “Mortaring exercise” or unexpected impact.

This Mil-Spec version of the IMOD buttstock fits 1.15" O.D. buffer tubes on Colt-manufactured M4, Daniel Defense, Bravo Company, LMT, S&W and other similar mil-spec carbines.

	I replaced the stock that came with my new M4 and found this to be of excellent quality, easily to fit onto the weapon, and most importantly it provides an excellent check weld. Can't recommend this item enough.

	Excellent stock
	This is an excellent buttstock for your next build or to upgrade the cheap factory buttstock you've got on your gun now. It'svery modular and I've run mine hard and have had no problems with it.

	I have had an IMOD on my AR for about 2yrs and I had tried a couple of other styles before utilizing the IMOD and for me it was the Best of bunch it just fits me .
